Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency matters to us. Here's how affiliate relationships and commissions may work when you use links on DogCareChoice.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on DogCareChoice are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate partner, at no additional cost to you.
1. What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a way for websites to earn a commission by referring readers to products or services offered by another company.
When you use an affiliate link on DogCareChoice and subsequently make a qualifying purchase, the retailer or affiliate network may provide us with a commission.
This does not normally increase the price you pay. The retailer generally charges the same price whether you reach its website through our affiliate link or another route.
2. How Affiliate Links Work
Some links on DogCareChoice may contain tracking information that allows an affiliate partner or retailer to identify that a visitor came from our website.
If you click one of these links and complete a qualifying transaction, DogCareChoice may receive a commission.
You are never required to use an affiliate link. You can always visit a retailer directly if you prefer.
3. How Affiliate Links Relate to Our Recommendations
The presence of an affiliate link does not automatically mean that a product is the best option for every reader or every dog.
Our product articles and buying guides are intended to provide useful information about products and purchasing considerations.
We may consider factors such as features, intended use, available specifications, materials, design, convenience, value, customer feedback, and other relevant information.
Our goal is to help readers make informed purchasing decisions, not to encourage readers to purchase products simply because an affiliate relationship exists.
4. Our Affiliate Relationships
DogCareChoice may participate in affiliate programs operated by retailers, affiliate networks, marketplaces, or other companies.
The specific affiliate relationships on the website may change over time as we add, remove, or update product recommendations.
Retailer Links
Some links may direct you to retailers where products can be purchased.
Commission
We may receive a commission from qualifying purchases made through certain links.
No Extra Cost
Affiliate commissions generally do not add an extra charge to the reader's purchase.
Transparency
We aim to clearly disclose affiliate relationships where applicable.
5. Product Prices & Availability
Prices, discounts, availability, shipping costs, promotions, specifications, and retailer policies can change at any time.
Any price or availability information displayed on DogCareChoice should be considered informational unless otherwise stated.
Before purchasing, we recommend checking the retailer's current product page for the latest price, availability, shipping information, return policy, warranty, and product specifications.
6. Editorial Independence
We aim to maintain editorial independence when creating product reviews, comparisons, and buying guides.
Affiliate relationships do not mean that a company automatically receives a favorable review or recommendation.
We may also mention products that do not have an affiliate relationship when they are relevant to a particular article.
Our editorial standards and review process are described in greater detail in our Editorial Policy and Review Methodology .
7. Amazon Associates Disclosure
If DogCareChoice participates in the Amazon Associates Program, this website may earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon links.
Important: Only keep this Amazon disclosure if DogCareChoice actually participates in an applicable Amazon Associates program.
